Calendar – Past Event

This month we launch the 14th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), which will take place August 19th - 25th at the Mann Chinese 6 Cinemas in the heart of Hollywood.
 
This year we will screen over 80 feature films, shorts and documentaries from 20 different countries.
 
We are devoted to bringing you a rich and diverse selection of the best works by our Latin filmmakers from around the world and our own backyard. Come and take a journey with us to discover new places, our history and our culture. Rest assured that this year's selection of films will make you laugh, cry and touch your soul.
 
LALIFF is one of only 65 film festivals around the word recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival for the Shorts Film category of the Annual Academy Awards Oscar® and the only Latino international film festival to have its collection of films archived at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences™, Academy Film Archive.
