Believing in the power of filmmakers to make a difference, The Humane Society of the United States is once again presenting the Animal Content in Entertainment (ACE) Documentary Film Grant.
For a seventh year, The Humane Society of the United States is awarding a $20,000 grant to a documentary filmmaker whose project highlights an animal issue. Second and third place will respectively receive $2,500 and $1,000. Submissions are now being accepted for the 2012 Animal Content in Entertainment (ACE) Grant.
This year’s winner will be chosen by a panel of judges including representatives from Animal Planet, HBO, Sundance Channel, The Documentary Channel, Gravitas Ventures, Participant Media, and more. The winner will be announced in December at The HSUS Hollywood VIP Cast & Crew party.
ACE seeks to inspire filmmakers to find creative and engaging ways to portray animal issues in their films.
