CPH: DOX was founded in 2003 by Night Film Festival and has grown to become one of Europe's biggest documentary festivals. With support from the national film industry and the Danish press, CPH: DOX manifested his role in the Danish film and cultural environment and distinguished itself as one of Copenhagen's largest cultural events.
Each year fills CPH: DOX in Copenhagen cinemas with more than 200 documentaries from around the
world. The films are divided into seven solid competition programs with international juries and a thematic series that focuses on current political and aesthetic issues. CPH: DOX emphasis on presenting the latest and most interesting on the documentary scene, and film program includes therefore both films of large, internationally acclaimed directors and narrower titles of new or unknown talent.
