Documentary Channel® (DOC) premieres the second season of its first original series, DocTalk, on Friday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Kicking off the new season is a showcase of news and exclusive interviews from the recent Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Film Festival. Additional all-new "DocTalk" episodes in September will feature exclusive interviews about films covering race relations and Asian films on Friday, Sept. 17 and 24, respectively.
On Friday, Sept. 10, "DocTalk" producer Barry Rubinow sits down for exclusive interviews with People Vs. George Lucas director Alexandre Philippe, Leave Them Laughing director John Zaritsky, Beyond This Place filmmaker Kaleo LaBelle, and A Drummer's Dream director John Walker. Hot Docs executive director Chris McDonald also shares with viewers details about the festival and what continues to drive its popularity with the documentary film industry.
