Documentary Edge Festival (formerly the DOCNZ International Documentary Film Festival) is Australasia’s only international competitive documentary film festival. It is held in New Zealand and showcases the very best in documentary film from New Zealand and around the world. The festival runs from late February and includes Awards Night, Q&A Sessions with filmmakers and special events.

Documentary Edge Festival embraces the latest trends in documentary film-making and seeks to expose New Zealand audiences to these developments.
