The New York Film Festival, which runs September 28-October 11, was founded in 1962 by Richard Roud and Amos Vogel. It is an annual festival produced by the Film Society of Lincoln Center which aims to demonstrate the development of international film art and contemporary trends in content, form, and style.
The festival celebrates the half-century mark with 17 days of exciting world premieres, prizewinners from Cannes and Berlin, special retrospective screenings, live performances, panel discussions and much more!
