Calendar – Past Event

San Francisco-based Rough Cuts is currently accepting submissions for our next event. If you are editing a documentary that is over 40 minutes long and are seeking feedback, we encourage you to submit.

Principal photography should have been completed, and we encourage filmmakers to submit films that are in the later stages of post-production (i.e. NOT first or second cuts).

To submit, please send three DVD copies of your cut and a signed copy of the application to the address listed on the form below.

Please note the following dates:

• Friday, July 1
  Submissions must arrive by 5:00 p.m.
  [This is not a postmark deadline.]
• Thursday, July 7
  Selections will be announced and all filmmakers will be notified
• Thursday, July 21st
  Screenings, followed by discussions led by a guest moderator
