The 4th Annual Red Rock Film Festival is an international film festival held beneath the majestic red mountains of Southern Utah and has a strong focus on documentaries from off-the-hook action and X-treme sports to the festival's staple of political docs. The festival is the largest film event in Southern Utah and opens a new film market this year. Categories include Documentary, Narrative Fiction, Experimental, Music Video, Animation, and Young Filmmaker with separate documentary awards for Features, Featurettes (30 min. to 59 min.,) Shorts (5 min. to 29 min.,) Short-Shorts (Under 5 minutes,) and the festival's own Aglet Awards given to films with thrifty budgets and filmmaking techniques.
