CICFF

Call for Entries to the Chicago International Childrens Film Festival.

CICFF is the only Academy Award qualifying festival in North America.
The CICFF has earned an international reputation for presenting the very best in children's media from around the world. The festival advocates inspired, innovative programming for kids.  We are seeking humanistic, culturally diverse, and compelling films that reveal the world in new ways and leave room for the child's own imaginative response.

David Cooke, director of "The Morse Collectors" singles out the CICFF as "easily my best festival experience ever. I saw many great films, met fantastic people who became friends and it was a genuine thrill to watch my film in huge, packed cinemas." Thanks to the CICFF's status as an Academy qualifying festival in the world, "The Morse Collectors" is now eligible to be considered for Oscar nomination for 2010.
