Candidate for A.S. degree, in June 2002. Computer Science Major, with an emphasis in Film Studies.

Candidate for B.A. degree, in May 2005. Communications Major with an emphasis in Film History. Dean’s list 2004 & 2005.

Perusing MFA in Film Production with and Editing emphasis. To date I have edited two student films. “Kid Pound” (thesis) directed by Andre Smith & produced by Kanarose Oonhateparuk. “Sugar Cane” directed by Petra Sunjo and produced by Eric Player. Work Experience

5/30/05 PBS KRCB INTERNSHIP Rohnert Park, CA
Worked a one semester internship with PBS KRCB as a Production Assistant and was asked to return the next semester. Produced and edited three clip segments for a weekly one hour phone-in show called “Making the Connection” which aired in 2005, as well as running camera, working in the production booth and occasionally answering the phone.

Currently Lead editor on a feature length documentary. (Now in the middle of distribution)
One of my films is now included in the OsCene 2010 exhibit at the Laguna Art Museum.
“Heal” is on display until May 16th 2010. It was also in the San Fan, Cleveland International, and Lake Arrowhead film festival

Skills
Video: know Avid Media composer, Adrenaline, symphony, Luster, Smoke and a little Avid DS. I have cut four student films with them. Also proficient with Final Cut, Maya, & After FX. Sound: I know Pro-tools and have used it on two student films. I also have spent time in studio mixing, doing ADR or FOLLY, and know my way around a Mixer and Mic’s. Communications: I’m good at giving presentations, and know power point. While I can do it, market research has never been of that big an interest to me. Office Proficiency’s: Type 100 words a min, good at answering phones and getting Coffey.
