Freedom Museum National Student Contest - CALL FOR ENTRIES

The McCormick Freedom Museum in Chicago, the first museum dedicated to freedom and the First Amendment, is currently accepting entries for the 2009 Seen and Heard: National Student Expression Contest & Exhibit. Express your views on contemporary political or social issues through film, editorial cartoons, Web design or photojournalism for a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize.

First-place winners from each category, along with their teacher/advisor will win a $500 prize and have their work displayed in the Freedom Museum's Seen & Heard exhibit from April 11-May 31, 2009. Plus, first-place winners will receive roundtrip tickets and accommodations (including one facility member or one parent/guardian) to Chicago for the opening reception of the exhibit on April 11, 2009.

All entries should include a completed entry form, which can be found on the Freedom Museum's Web site. Entries must be postmarked by February 6, 2009 and be mailed to:
