With the Back to Basics Documentary Challenge, the Independent Film Channel is hosting an initiative to support independent documentary film makers--and it could land you $7500 for your latest project or to start up a new one.

Just submit a three-minute non-fiction piece to the site here. It can be either a short documentary or a trailer for a larger project. The subject is up to you.
