A biography of literary figure Harold Louis "Doc" Humes (the co-founder of the Paris Review) by his daughter Immy,  DOC  tells the story of a life crammed full of ideas about politics, literature and protest. Exploring Doc's paranoia and mental illness, this homemade, improvisational piece sheds light on an original mind as well as the literary history of postwar America, and features interviews with Timothy Leary, Norman Mailer, George Plimpton and others.by Immy Humes.
