RECOGNITION

• The documentary made by him on sustainable effort of tribal women in social forestry titled Tribal women, afforestation and sustainability was selected for the screening in the Short & Documentary films Section of 15th Kolkata Film Festival.

• The documentary made by him on the historical event of establishing the first Small and Medium Forest Enterprise in India titled "Artistic approach", produced by the National Afforestation & Eco-Development Board, was screened at Nandan, the West Bengal Film Centre, Kolkata as a part of the 8th International Social Communication Cinema Conference 2009, organized by Roopkala Kendro, Department of Information & Cultural Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal.

• Three (3) documentaries made by him titled "the tender touch", "Artistic approach" and "Forest Management Beyond JFM" was accepted by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India for the national telecast in Doordarshan (the number one television channel in India in terms of absolute viewer-ship).

• NANDAN, the West Bengal Film Centre screened one of his documentary film in their 25 years celebration.

• The documentary on establishing the first Small & Medium Forest Enterprise in India titled "Artistic approach”, produced by National Afforestation & Eco-Development Board was screened in Siri Fort Auditorium, Delhi at the "Brain Storming Session On Green India Mission" organized by the Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India
