Featuring the work of award-winning director Beck Cole (Luritja/Warumungu) one of Australia's outstanding filmmakers who will screen and discuss three recent documentaries.

A Fair Deal for A Dark Race (2008, 55 min.) tells the story of Indigenous struggle for citizenship in Australia; it was part of the acclaimed 2008 Australian public-television series, First Australians.

Lore of Love (2005, 25 min.) (camera: Warwick Thornton). An Indigenous urban teen journeys with her feisty Pintupi grandmothers to their homelands, where they teach her the lore of love-the traditional way.

Making Samson & Delilah: (2009, 55 min.) goes behind the scenes with Aboriginal teen stars of the feature Samson and Delilah (dir. Warwick Thornton), 2009 Camera d'Or recipient at Cannes.

Discussion to follow with Beck Cole, Warwick Thornton (Kaytetye) and Faye Ginsburg, director, NYU's Center for Media, Culture and History.
