The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) awards grants up to $25,000 for artists who are residents of New York State in production on a Film, Media, New Technology, or Video project. Fiction, experimental, animation, and documentary projects are all eligible to apply. However, this year, eligible documentary projects are restricted to those in post-production. Filmmakers must be able to provide a 15-minute work-in-progress sample.

You DO NOT need to be affiliated with WMM in order to apply. If you are a woman director, simply email WMM your project information no later than February 27 and WMM will register your project for "intent to apply" on your behalf.
