3D isn't just for mythological creatures and blue aliens. Wim Wenders is working on a 3D documentary titled Il Volo, as reported by Cineuropa.org. The film is about immigration, and began as a seven-minute short from an original story by Eugenio Melloni, but changed into a longer for doc/fiction hybrid after Wenders met a young Afghani refugee. Wenders is also working on a film about Pina Bausch, the renowned German choreographer who passed away last year.
