The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (SFJFF) is now accepting entries for its 29th Festival, (July 23-August 10, 2009).

The SFJFF, the oldest and largest Jewish film festival in the world, showcases new independent American and international Jewish-subject cinema. The SFJFF seeks dynamic short and feature-length narrative, documentary, experimental and animated works addressing aspects of Jewish history, culture and identity, or which are of special interest in a Jewish context. Comedies are encouraged!

Exhibition formats include: 35mm, Beta SP (NTSC and PAL) and Digibeta (NTSC and PAL). Preview formats include: DVD and VHS (NTSC preferred; PAL accepted). Rough cuts of almost completed films are accepted.  Entry forms can be filled out online or downloaded from www.sfjff.org.

The deadline for all entries is February 20, 2009. Please submit preview tape or DVD, entry form, $20 entry fee (not required for international entries and student entries with copy of valid ID), synopsis, director bio/filmography, cast/credit list and photos to: Festival Programming, SFJFF, 145 Ninth Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, 94103.
