Synopsis:
Second Skin takes an intimate, disturbing look at people whose lives have been changed due to their fanatic devotion to online virtual computer games. The film introduces us to couples who have fallen in love without meeting, disabled players who have found new purpose, addicts, Chinese gold-farming sweatshop workers, wealthy online entrepreneurs and legendary guild leaders -- all living in a world that doesn't quite exist.

The film premiered at the opening night of the South by Southwest 2008 Festival to sold-out shows and rave reviews, and continued to generate buzz at Hot Doc's Int'l Documentary Festival, Boston Int'l Film Festival and the Fantasia Film Festival.
