Terra Di Tutti Film Festival
Event Type:  Festival
10/10/2008 - 10/12/2008
Bologna, Italy

Terra di Tutti Film Festival has born by the gathering and synergy of four European NGOs (COSPE, GVC, CIC BATA', OIKOS) working together for the promotion of new development models more equal, peaceful and human rights respectful.

The Bologna festival has been inspired by other European partner festivals such as the Spanish documentaries exhibition La Imagen del Sur taking place every year in Cordoba.
From 2007 the Hungarian Festival BuSho, Budapest Short Film Festival has also join the network.

The Terra di Tutti Film Festival stems from the need to give voice to the many documentary-makers who use video as a form of critical expression, as a means of shining a light on the world, on the problems affecting the worlds many Souths found in every country.

The Festival includes medium and short length audiovisual works, whose narrative line focuses on struggles for equal rights, gender, defending freedom, active citizenship, and environmental and ecological awareness. The objective of the initiative is to give visibility to the conditions of those people, countries and social struggles that remain invisible in the mass media.

The Terra di Tutti Film Festival aims to offer a vision of the South without rhetoric, censorship or pitiousness, with the idea that only a sharp, reactive and never submissive gaze on our surroundings can change the present and invent futures. Even through cinema.
