If you are a fan of Peter Askin’s documentary TRUMBO and you happen to be in Los Angeles this week, you can check out some of the blacklisted screenwriter’s films in a rare appearance the big screen. The American Cinematheque is doing a three-day tribute at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, beginning May 21st.

Not sure who Dalton Trumbo is? You can thank the black list for that! You may be more familiar with some of his films, which include Kitty Foyle, Roman Holiday, Spartacus and Exodus.

In-person guests during the series will include Dalton’s son Christopher Trumbo, and his daughter Mitzi Trumbo. For more info on the screenings, check out the American Cinematheque website.
