I didn't even start my company until the Sony PMW-EX1 came out. I have an I.T. background, and the demands of all-digital HD storage are certainly an issue for existing companies, as well as the obvious need to capitalize on the fairly new HD capabilities of the internet. Yes, i agree.. technology is also a big factor, and it is getting harder and harder to keep up..
