ANIMATOR for Feature Documentary - THIS IS AN UPAID INTERNSHIP - IDEAL FOR STUDENTS OR RECENT GRADUATES
Kirschenbaum Productions is an Emmy award-winning boutique production company that creates and produces non-fiction programming and documentaries. Our shows and films have premiered on several stations including HBO, Discovery, TLC and A&E. Our work and award-winning producer Gayle Kirschenbaum is featured widely in the media including The New York Times, Washington Post, and NBC’s Today. We are storytellers whose work focuses on people.
Kirschenbaum Productions is currently producing a feature documentary, entitled MY NOSE: THE BIGGER VERSION, about the transformation of the filmmaker’s relationship with her mother from Mother Dearest to Dear Mom.
We are seeking a talented animator for the title opening for a documentary/pilot. We are looking for something colorful and whimsical for the funny and edgy show- an animation that spoofs the fairytale land. We are very open to ideas as to what style of animation- traditional, flash, or After EFX. We are in the development phase and there is no budget. Hence, this is a NON-PAYING job. However, this is a great opportunity to work under an Emmy Award Winning documentary filmmaker and a highly creative team. You will be creating an animation that WILL be shown to a variety of audiences and will be a great work sample. We are in the editing phase of production and we are looking for someone who has time NOW.
Please send us a cover letter, resume, three references, and samples of your work to jack@dogamentary.com .
