I am a volunteer representing a small private organization interested in producing a documentary. The subject would be a (deceased) famous public servant who served state and country. We have some thematic concepts in mind already, but we value the process of creative collaboration. There is significant material on the subject, in print and archival footage. Also involved would be interviews with people in 3-4 different locations across the U.S. The primary audience may be K-12 school students -- perhaps a documentary customized and "segmented" for various grade level groups. And/or an e-book featuring documentary clips, among other things.

We have yet to develop a solid "road map" for this project, including the identification of funding sources. We have some ideas and leads along those lines also. An initial chunk of funding was confirmed earlier today.

The right person (people) for this would have the ability to help us ask the right questions and consider all necessary needs and options. Some experience with educational products (and/or in educational settings) would be nice, but not entirely necessary.

Hi: If this project comes through, and it makes sense to work with someone out of Boston, please get in touch with us. You can check out a project we just finished for Northeastern.
