How to Stage a Premiere

I'm looking for information to help me plan and budget to stage my own premiere (low-budget independent documentary with plans to make a big splash). I'll have to raise the money, so gold-diggers need not apply. But I would love some advice from someone who's been through it, or some links to good resources. So far Google is not coming through on this one.

Thanks!

Online Premiere

Hello,

If interested in also conducting an online premiere to raise money I suggest using the Dynamo Player. It's an HD video player with embed codes for fans, friends, supporters, etc, to play the movie in other blogs/websites and the publisher still receives revenue. Here are some examples of films who have used the player for online premieres:

The Ray Kurzweil documentary, “Transcendent Man”:

Oscar-contender “Gone Fishing” with bonus content:

Documentary “Cowboys in Paradise” on Facebook:

Here's a look at the Dynamo Player website as well:

Hope this is helpful!
