Member News - Posting Guidelines

The Member News Forum is a place for the IDA community to engage in a shared online experience. We know many members of our community are looking to spread the word about their events, and we would like to provide a way for them to connect to other members of the non-fiction community in one cohesive place.

As a valued member of IDA, we hope you will help keep everyone who posts accountable. If you notice content that doesn’t directly relate to the documentary film community, IDA’s mission, or is SPAM, please email support@documentary.org so that the offending post can be removed.

Here are a few simple guidelines for items that are posted in IDA’s Member News Forum:

  1. Please do not post duplicate information.
  2. Posts should be kept short. We suggest a maximum of 200 words.
  3. Please keep all posts interesting and relevant.

Please note that documentary.org administrators reserve the right to curate the Member News Forum per their discretion.
