Documentary magazine is the quarterly publication of the International Documentary Association and the only US publication dedicated to documentaries. The magazine has an international readership that includes over 20,000 film/video-makers, producers, distributors, network and cable outlets, educators and students, and fans of nonfiction.
Circulation includes the 3,000 members of IDA, over 200 libraries, newsstand sales in Los Angeles, New York and major cities throughout the US and Canada.

We accept Mac-platform files in the following formats:
- Quark Xpress with fonts and images
- Photoshop (EPS, TIF, and JPEG at 300dpi)
- Illustrator EPS files with linked images and fonts outlined.
- Acrobat PDF files must be hi-res with crop marks.
To ensure that your ad prints correctly, please provide a laser printout. If you are e-mailing your ad, fax a proof or include a lo- res pdf or jpg proof.
Compression of e-mail files prior to sending is recommended, either as archive (.sit), binhex (.hqx) or .zip; self-extracting files (.sea files should be avoided).

IDA monthly classifieds are currently 30¢ per word for individual IDA members, 50¢ per word for organizational IDA members, and $1.00 per word for non-IDA members, with a $6 minimum. Ads must be typed and received at the IDA office by mail no later than the 15th of the month, three months prior to the issue date (i.e. February 15 for the May issue).
NOTE: FAXED ADS AND E-MAIL SUBMISSION CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
Payment must be made at the time of submission; make check or money order payable to IDA. To run an ad more than once, indicate the number of insertions on the ad copy and pay for each insertion at the time of initial submission. IDA members receive two free classifieds per membership year (January 1 to December 31). IDA free member ads must be accompanied by IDA ad voucher coupons included in the membership packet; faxed coupons cannot be accepted.
