Subscribe

Subscriptions to Documentary magazine are available to individuals or businesses as a benefit of membership to the International Documentary Association.

Otherwise, subscriptions to Documentary magazine are only available to libraries and institutions (schools, museums, archives, non-profit institutions, etc.), under the following conditions:

• Individual memberships to the International Documentary Association are not available via subscription agencies.
• Price for institutional subscriptions are as follows: $45.00 U.S. and $55.00 for International (including Canada) subscribers per year.
• Subscriptions begin at time of payment, unless a later start date is specified. No retroactive subscriptions will be made.
• No partial-year subscriptions will be made. Subscriptions are for 12 months/4 issues only (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter).
• Missing issues (as it pertains to both U.S. & International Subscribers): Issues may be claimed for free replacement within 90 days of publication. Missing issues claimed after 90 days from publication are available for purchase, subject to availability. Shipping and handling will apply depending on purchaser location and size of order.
• Any claims for missing issues will be sent by periodical class mail. Should delivery of a claimed issue(s) fail, a maximum of two additional replacement attempts will be mailed. Claimed issues not received by subscriber following two failed replacement attempts will be considered back issues, which must be paid for at the back issue purchase price of $6.00 (US) per copy, plus shipping & handling, depending on purchaser location and size of order.
• Back Issues Defined: Back issues are considered to be those that are more than one year old.
• Back issues are available for purchase at $6.00 per issue (limit 10 issues per back order), subject to availability. Additional shipping and handling charges may apply depending on purchaser location and size of order.
• Additional single copies of Documentary magazine are available for purchase at $4.50 per issue for individuals, $6.00 per issue for institutions, plus shipping & handling (limit 10 issues per order).
