"Strangers No More" directed by Karen Goodman and Kirk Simon wins Best Documentary Short.  And "Inside Job" directed by Charles Ferguson and Audrey Marrs wins Best Feature Documentary.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS AND ALL THE NOMINEES!

Still no justice.

Congratulations to the winners of this year's best doc, "Inside Job".
When "Inside Job" won the Oscar last weekend, Charles Ferguson stood up and told us that still not a single banker or Wall St exec has been sent to jail in the United States. We live in a culture of impunity for multibillion dollar fraud and embezzlement. Shameful.
The same can be said of Guatemala, except there impunity is for a far greater crime. Genocide. Our film, Granito, is born of a similar anger for crimes going unpunished, for the absence of justice. We premiered at Sundance this year. Who knows, maybe we can make it to the Academy in 2012 and deliver the message again that crimes are crimes, and they deserve justice.
Join us on an indie run to the 2012 Oscars to bring the message of "Granito: How to Nail a Dictator" to millions! We can all contribute to bringing down dictators! Join our Kickstarter campaign at: http://kck.st/fWIdaR
