Biography: 

AdeQ Historical Services (a division of AdeQ Historical Archives, Inc.) was founded in 1999 when Alejandro M. de Quesada formed AdeQ Historical Resources, Inc. after years of working with various film makers and museum staff as a consultant. He is a fellow of The Company of Military Historians and a four time recipient of the Robert Loren Miller Memorial Award for best historical presentation. An author of well over 25 books and well over one hundred articles on military and regional history, Alex (as many of his friends calls him) uses his expertise as an experienced historical researcher in meeting the challenges set forth by film makers wishing to create a historical themed production. He has had experience working with the film production crew in the following areas: writing, costumes/wardrobe, set design, location, technical assistance, firearms, and living history coordinator.

Mr. de Quesada's area of expertise in militaria (uniforms, insignia, firearms, history, etc.) spans through the following eras: Spanish Colonial Forces (1650-1825); French Colonial Forces (1650-1803); War of 1812; Second Seminole War; Mexican-American War; Third Seminole War; Civil War (War Between the States); Fenian Invasions (1866-1870); Indian Wars; Cuban Wars for Independence (1868-1898); Spanish-American War; Boer War; German Colonial and Overseas Troops; The First World War; The Third Reich; The Second World War; Cuban Revolution (1950s); and the Bay of Pigs (1961). Additional interests but not limited to are of the following: Military Architecture and Fortifications (1600-1945); Cuban Armed Forces (1895 to the Present); 18th & 19th Century Buccaneers and Pirates; Imperial Russian and Soviet Armed Forces; Latin American conflicts and Armed Forces (1823-Present); British Armed Forces and colonial forces; Florida and soutrhern regional history; and, baseball.
