Biography: Documentary work includes: "Beisbol: Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow" (2008); "Diabetes: Challenges & Breakthroughs" (2008); "Leimert Park" (2008); "Spiritual Revolution" (2007). Scripted work: "Time Of Fear," "Rebound" (with Don Cheadle, Forrest Whitaker, & James Earl Jones), "The Buddy Holly Story," and much TV. Also, several music videos, commercials, and educational films. Work in music includes producing "Ray Charles Love Songs," plus writing liner notes for many Ray Charles albums, as well as work by Big Joe Turner, etc. Have been on the faculty at the American Film Institute, USC, and Pepperdine, as well as teaching filmmaking seminars in France and Singapore. Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Advanced Journalism at North Carolina A&T University, as well as the Compton Baseball Academy.
