Hello I am Subash Thapa Magar and I am very much happy to be a member of this association.

Biography: 

I am subash Thapa Magar.I started my documentary film making career since 2001 from the documentary film Beautiful Patan which is about the historical background of Patan Durbar square.Since my childhood I used to watch history channel and discovery channel from where I got the basic knowledge of documentary film making.As the inspiration of History channel and discovery channel,I made another documentary film named "Biography of Hari Prashad Rimal".
After making those two documentary films I thought,I have to take the technical training and took film making training.Later,I established my own film production company named "Cat's Eye Media Pvt.Ltd"
"A village in Nepal" is the first documentary which I directed and produced under my own production company.
" A Tregedy For The Liberty" is my most successful film from which I achieved "Best International Documentary Director" Award in New York Internatioanl Independent Film and Video Festival in 2007.This documentary is about the 19 days People's Movement of Nepal 2006.
I have the passion of social work beside documentary filmmaking as I have screened my documentary film in different countries and in throughout the nation for the donation purpose.
After,the achievement if great International Award,I was again able to win the National Award in "Annapurna Fim Fetival" from my another film "The Hidden World" in 2009.
These International and National awards are my greatest achievement of my life and I am still struggling for another documentary films to reveal the hidden issues of the society from my documentaries.
