Biography: 

The documentary THE AFGHAN SOLUTION is Josie Maynard's latest film. It poses viable solutions to the perils of the current American strategy in Afghanistan. Prior to this she directed and produced a feature length historical documentary that serves as a reference to Afghanistan's last thirty years; as well as educational shows promoting healthy eating for children, KIDS COOK TV; and created a traveling wine show, PLANET WINE. Josie attended The New School University, and is a member of New York Women in Film and Television, as well as the Screen Actors Guild. She continues to work with human rights organizations, as well as tribal and political figures to promote dialogue on Afghanistan.
