Brief Message to Members: 

In 2009 after arriving in Burma I began working with Democracy activist and ex-political prisoners as they sought to create networks while providing civic education within the activists community. They also reached out to university students who were interested in politics but had no way of organizing or joining particular groups. I also trained journalists, provided workshops on Leadership and Democracy issues. Now, while things in Burma are far from perfect, with a colleague, I've re-focussed my work in Burma and we're making the Documentary called We Are Flying To Be Free: Burma. We are thinking of other short film projects related to social justice and human rights. We hope all works out well!
