Don Hardy Director/Cinematographer/Editor

Don’s first feature length documentary film, Witch Hunt, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008 and was awarded the Grand Jury Award at the Washington DC Independent Film Festival and the Audience Award at Cinequest. Don served as Director, Director of Photography, and Editor on Witch Hunt. He served in the same capacity on his latest documentary film, LOVE HATE LOVE, which recently premiered at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. Don directed both films with his creative partner, Dana Nachman, through the production company they co-founded, KTF Films.

Prior to directing independent documentary films, Don Hardy spent more than a decade working as a television news photojournalist with FOX, ABC and NBC affiliates in New York, Florida and the San Francisco Bay Area. Don has won numerous awards for his photography and editing including 6 Emmys, 3 Edward R. Murrow Awards, 7 Associated Press Awards, the prestigious San Francisco Bay Area Photographer of the Year Award and more than 15 National Press Photographer Association Awards throughout his career.

Don is currently in production on a new film called The Human Experiment.
