Quote:
I utilize still imagery, dialogue, and film primarily to illuminate awareness of our daily behavior toward ourselves and others. My work is dedicated to dispelling the debilitating impact of ignorance and prejudice; elements that often fuel aggression, fear, and accentuate inequality. When we can clearly see ourselves in relation to others, and see our image mirrored-back, differences typically fade out of focus. With new awareness, there is opportunity to be compassionate with ourselves and in response to others. If it is true that all sentient beings seek happiness, then my effort has ground for constant renewal. ~ Sue May
