Seeking documentary filmmakers interested in making a documentary about the discovery in my family of the first, unrecorded banishment from within the Krupp steel dynasty of Essen, Germany. Never before has there been a Krupp ancestry line living in the United States until this discovery was made. The Krupp at the center of the banishment is my deceased great-grandmother, Engelbertha Krupp Stroebele who died in Union City, New Jersey in 1911. Germany’s highest court is currently reviewing Engelbertha Krupp’s constitutional right to be named sole heiress as her father intended before she refused to break off an engagement with a poor shoemaker employed at the Krupp estate in Essen. I accidentally came across her banishment when I began researching my Stroebele family origins in Sigmaringen, Germany.
