Biography: 

Eddie Baytos & The Nervis Brothers have been in Los Angeles for the last 25 years! It's LA's longest running and still existing band in a city where things don't last! It's made up of some of the most amazing side-men from around the world. Our members have backed up and recorded with everyone from Keith Richards, RL Burnside, Annie Lennox, Ricky Martin, Rod Stewart, John Mayer, Cesar Rosas from Los Lobos, Dave Mason, Bob Dylan, Sade, Steve Riley, Zigaboo Modeliste from the Meters, Tom Petty, Tower of Power, Lenny Kravitz, Lee Dorsey, Irma Thomas, Dr. John, Ernie K-Doe, Allan Touissaint---well you get the picture! Eddie not only plays New Orleans funk and Mardi-Gras music but also play Zydeco, Cumbias, Forro', Zouk, Souka, African, Ska, and of course Blues! It has truly become a World Music Band with it's influences from New Orleans as it's roots! The have performed on several major TV shows the best of which was the Ellen Degeneress Show for Mardi-Gras a few years back.
Band Leader and founder Eddie Baytos is also an award winning choreographer/director from MTV, AVA, and Billboard Music Awards and has tapped dance on record with Fayord Nicholas from the famous Nicholas Brothers on a Phil Alvin CD called "County Faire" which got critically acclaimed praise for the song "Low Down Rhythm"!

Eddie has also scored many TV commercials and movies and has done staging and videos for ZZ Top, Weird Al Yankovic, and Annie Lennox. He has recently worked on "The Princess & the Frog" and staged "Rock Star" with Mark Whalberg and Jennifer Aniston.
