Brief Message to Members: We've made three educational films. The first two films we based on discrepant events in the classroom. Our third film centered on an interview with a Bataan survivor. We're working on a fourth film: Selma: Bridge over Troubled Waters.
Biography: I write. I publish for Home Tree Media. I've co-written six books with my husband, Professor William C. Bruce. I'm the founder and CEO of Home Tree Media. Our last film (our third), Death March from Bataan to Manchuria: Raising a Survivor’s Voice is a research item for a discrepant event lesson on one of our Web sites, The third film contains an interview with a POW survivor of Bataan and Manchuria, Oliver “Red” Allen: http://web.me.com/eteach2/Death_March_from_Bataan_to_Manchuria:_Raising_a_Survivors_Voice/FREE_Lesson.html. Our others films are: Discrepant Event Lesson: Humanity's Journey and Discrepant Event Lesson Easter Island: Ghosts of Rapa Nui. Our fourth film: Selma: Bridge over Troubled Waters, a 3-part documentary, weaves our childhood events, our hometown, Selma, Alabama, with Selma's history. The viewer experiences the explosive story, of Selma and its people, as the fragments stitch together the true stories of people (their pets, food, and music), geography, geology, Death and Life.
