Born in D.C., Son of a record collector/disc jockey dad who ended up as a coat-buyer in the family's chain of women's clothing stores, and an antique collector/dealer mom, who produced many of Metro DC's largest antique shows for over 25 years. Raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. Attended Montgomery College and the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. Former bass-baritone soloist at the National Cathedral.
Self-taught filmmaker, with 30 festival screenings in 2010-11 including Raindance, Chicago International FF, St. Louis International FF, Festivus FF, L.A. Comedy Shorts, L.A. Comedy Fest, L.A. Jewish FF, Miami Jewish FF. Coney Island FF.
Musical short, "Yiddish Hillbillies" (2007) is in the collection of the Museum of Jewish Art and History in Paris, France.
