Biography: 

Frances Davidson has been president of Davidson Films since 1979 when the founder of the company, Jack Davidson, began a new career as a physician. The company under Jack, then located in San Francisco, had largely produced science and math films for large governmental agencies and publishing companies. However the company had kept the rights for a series on the Swiss developmental psychologist, Jean Piaget, a series very much still used in psychology and educational courses.
The success of that series has led to the production of highly regarded films for higher education courses. The films combine the expertise of internationally recognized experts with lively visuals and carefully designed graphics. These films have incredibly long shelf lives due to their subject matter and are used in virtually every US college and university and increasingly in institutions abroad.
