Brief Message to Members: I am an established colorist with experience in Hollywood and London. I offer film transfer and color correction at reasonable rates for documentarians. Using Final Cut Suite 2, I do color correction of SD, HD, and 2K material.
Biography: Pied Piper Post, LLC was formed by Greg H. Hamlin. Greg has worked in film, radio, and television since he was fourteen. He co-hosted a teenage radio talk show on KPPC in Pasadena, California. He studied Radio and Television at Pasadena City College and Film and Television at San Diego State University. After graduating from San Diego State University, Greg worked for five years in feature and television production. Projects included, Blade Runner, History of the World Part 1, and True Confessions, starring Robert Duvall and Robert DeNiro. Greg moved to London and into post production becoming a telecine "colourist" in 1984. Returning to LA in 1985, he has worked as a colorist at Laser Pacific, Stereoscope, Post Logic, Deluxe Digital Media, Sunset Digital, Film Technology Company, Filmlook, and others. His work has included feature mastering for DVD for Paramount Studios, Warner Brothers, MGM, Universal Studios, Miramax, Criterion. He has also done fully color corrected dailies for Man on FIre, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, and Domino. Documentaries he has worked on include: The Grizzly Man, Living with Wolves, Hotel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbi, King Leoplold's Ghost, The Year of the Yao, and Sun 3D. Greg works on the PBS series Travelscope. Greg has earned Apple Certified Pro certification for Final Cut Pro 6 Level One and Apple Color Level One.
