Hamed Kibria is a filmmaker and 7-year veteran of the documentary world. He is also associated with the Film Society Movement in Bangladesh for last decade. He was born in Dhaka and studied in Bengali Literature, Information Technology, Dramatics. In 2008 He received a BDCFF nomination for INTIMATE TALKS. In 2006, The Heart of Bangladesh- an experimental film had received high appreciation. In 2007, He began his career as an editor His edited film ‘INNONANCE: MEDIUM WATER COLOR received best film award 2010. Dhaka Stories – a documentary screened in SilverDoc film festival. POHELA BOISHAKH got Best Documentary award from Imphal International Film Festival,India 2012. He has edited a large number of films and TV production. In 2012, He got a fellowship in DW Akademie, Germany. He attends 62 Berlinale International Film Festival and Berlinale Talent Campus2012.
