Biography:  RICK SEAMAN Rick's motion picture career began in 1967 as a stunt driver. One year later, he found himself in Vietnam as a combat infantryman, earning the CIB and Purple Heart. This experience, along with a 40 year film industry career, is what put Rick's compassion toward America's veterans into motion. After writing several short stories and screenplays on the war veterans' experience, as well as producing many fund raising events for veterans, Rick was invited to become a board member of the National Veterans Foundation. He accepted and remains on the Board to this day. In 1995, Rick's original screenplay, "Chain Reaction", was produced by 20th Century Fox and starred Keanu Reeves and Morgan Freeman. From the late 90's to the mid-2000's, his knowledge and concerns for veterans had manifested, and it was Rick who co-founded the first ever internet TV network for America's veterans. The Veterans Network was born in 2005 and has grown to become today's premier video media service for the men and women who have served this nation. Most recently, Rick and The Veterans Network co-produced the forty-two minute documentary titled, "After The Showdown". The piece focuses on recently returned combat veterans through interviews with these veterans as well as the experts and professionals who are involved with the combat veterans' reintegration process. The piece also goes inside several Combat Stress Therapy Sessions, also known as "rap groups", and provides a riveting and innermost connection with the hearts and minds of these warriors.
