Biography: Emmy-nominated Producer/Director Justin Bookey hails from Seattle, WA, home to giant clams, software, and all-weather fabric. He holds a B.A. in Communications (UCSD), an M.S. in Public Relations (Boston U.), and a law degree (Boston U.). He has practiced communications law in Washington, D.C., and lived in Tokyo (leading Business Communications seminars) and in India (studying its film industry). At age 13 he co-produced his first 8mm film, Attack of the Killer Bean Bags. He now lives with his wife, two sons, and a leopard gecko in Santa Monica, CA. He's followed non-fiction filmmaking for years, and finds it unequaled for vivid, moving stories. His two feature documentaries, 3 Feet Under (2003, www.duckumentary.com) and JUMP (2005, www.frogumentary.com) both played on PBS stations throughout the country and in dozens of film festivals.
