Biography: Rick Bowman is originally from Virginia and has been living in Southern California for the past 20 years. He is a Cindy , Telly and Omni award winner for his sound design on various projects ranging from video gaming to feature films. Rick just recently finished sound mixing on the film “Shoot the Hero, starring Jason Mewes (Clerks, Dogma).
He is currently working on post-production for the documentary “Return to Dwight and Nile” and is also starting post-production on his historical documentary “The Courthouse Massacre.”
He founded Lethal Sounds, Inc in 1996 as a project studio. Mostly due to the owner’s professionalism, flexibility and knowledge base, it quickly developed a strong reputation in the San Diego sound industry as a desirable partner in all types of projects. It quickly outgrew its “project” status, and since 1998 has developed working relationships with companies such as Sega, Plato Learning, Sony, Atlus, Her Interactive, Polychrome Pictures, Warner Brothers Home Video, Midway Entertainment, Humongous, Universal Interactive, Bonus Mobile and Nickelodeon, just to name a few.
Lethal Sounds became incorporated in 2005. It has strengthened and enhanced operations in all aspects of the audio industry and has formed solid, long-term partnerships with dependable, consistent and award-winning performers in the voiceover and music industries.
In addition, Lethal Sounds has formed Backyard Green Films to creatively collaborate and lend expertise on projects across the media spectrum, including documentary and live-action films.
