Lisa Vandegrift Davala is currently in pre-production with a feature length documentary that will begin shooting in 2012 with D.O.P. Cian de Buitléar. She is also in development with "Oracle of Love”, a short film, set in post WWII Paris, which she has written and will direct, and with "Touch" a documentary, which she is currently writing. In 2010 she directed, wrote and scored the short film "...for peace comes dropping slow...”, cinematographer Cian de Buitléar, film editor Tony Kearns, with Seamie O’Dowd (vocals) and still photographer Darren Carr. Nominated Best Irish Short, Foyle Film Fest 2010, Runner Up, Best Experimental Film, Corona Fastnet Short Film Fest, 2011 and nominated Best Short at New Hope Film Fest, 2011, and Honorable Mention, Best International Short Film, International Film Festival for Peace, Jakarta, 2012. Lisa also developed and presented two large-scale public light installations during Ireland's Culture Night, Sligo, 2009 and 2010. Each was created in a single night by public interaction with 800-1200 people along with a team of artists, photographers and filmmakers, (SLIGLOW, and SLIGLOW2).
