Our lives are made of stories and sharing them is what connects us. I’m drawn to telling stories that have a strong reason to be—stories that are entertaining and that also work as subtle medicine. It is said that all art is either about the wound or the healing of the wound. Of course that’s an overgeneralization, but it’s also often true. A compelling story illuminates something important about the human condition and works inside us in profound ways.
I love telling simple stories that explore complex subjects such as how we make meaning of our lives, the ways to balance the masculine and feminine, and which traditions to leave behind and which to take forward into the 21st century. Our lives are so much richer when they are full of good stories. I love spending my life making stories that matter.
