Jeffrey L. Gilson is an architectural historian, independent filmmaker and president of the high-end tour company Architectour – that specializes in private architectural tours of Rome. Mr. Gilson received his Master’s degree from NYU’s prestigious Institute of Fine Arts focusing on the architecture and urban development of renaissance and Baroque Rome. He has studied at both the American Academy in Rome and the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles. For the past 15 years, Mr. Gilson has served as vice-president of Halstead Property, LLC in New York, selling more than $40 million in real estate – enabling him to pursue his passion for film making and tourism.
He is the creator of the up-coming High-definition documentary: “Lost Road of the Popes: Via Papale”. Mr. Gilson is a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild and supporter of WNET Thirteen in New York as well as the Society of Architectural Historians. Mr. Gilson lives in New York, Beverly Hills, Palm Springs and Rome.
