Biography: Matt Norman is an international award winning film maker. His latest film "SALUTE", a documentary about his late uncle Peter Norman tells the story of the 1968 Black Power Protest at the Mexico City Olympics. Silver Medalist Peter Norman from Australia with Tommie Smith and John Carlos from the United States staged one of the biggest stances in history. On the medal podium for the 200m race, Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised their black gloved fists to the air in support of the issues relating to Black America. Peter Norman wore a budget in support of their cause. Salute was the highest grossing Australian documentary film at the box office in Australia for 2008 and is set to hit America and the Rest of the World in 2009. Matt's upcoming film "MEN IN COURT" is another topical documentary about the issues men have with the Family court system. 5 Australian men a day commit suicide because of child custody issues.
